Blessed!

"Human beings tend to think that they are so great. Animals and even worms have families and love each other. What is the difference between them and us? The only difference is that humans are endowed with the ability to discriminate between right and wrong - Amma."
It has been three months here in London and today I am blessed again this year to get Amma's Darshan. Guess what? I get to see her in London. I have been mentally preparing for the past two weeks. It was by chance that I got to know about Amma's Darshan in London. The time I was totally disheartened and frustrated about not finding luck with a job here in London. Last three months were like years to me.

Days together of unfound success..... Everyone near and dear talked me out of this despair. asked me to enjoy my long Holiday. With many responsibilities or at least assuming to be having many, I just could not afford this long Holiday. So there I was counting the number of rejected job applications on my mailbox and my mamma as usual (so sweet of her to listen to all my woes every time ), asked me to pray to Amma. And I obeyed. I was casually browsing on the Net to know about Amma's current presence and there I see "Amma in London 2012... 23rd to 25th of October 2012". I was speechless!

It was as if she heard me. Ohh! How much I adore her? She is there every time reinstating faith in me. Every time she asks me to believe, I do, but am easily carried away by the cobwebs of the world.

"Chai.....Chai.....", I heard the Kitchen volunteer of Amma's programme, breaking my train of thoughts. The lights in the queuing place for Darshan tokens have come up and I am seated here. Initially as I came here, there were very few people and now after more than an hour wait, the whole place is bustling with life. The crowd, in which I see no difference from India, is a mix of people - People of different origins, many first timers and others who have been blessed by Amma for years. Few criticizers, many curious and lot many cravers, all queuing up to get a glimpse of Amma and her motherly embrace!

As the clock struck 6 pm, as scheduled, the doors to the hall were open and everybody rushed in. Now there was no sign of people who had been waiting patiently for hours for the Darshan! All were in a hurry, irrespective of age, disability, caste, creed or color! I choose to believe that this is one place where any of these even matters. No discrimination! There is only love and compassion that flows from her like a river that never dries, irrespective of any kind of circumstance! I wish I could spread this message throughout this world! Will Amma give me the strength, patience and wisdom to do so in ways that a common person like me can do? I seek her blessings... I chose to sit on the floor in the hall, to be very near her presence and make the most out of this Darshan. It was chaos and confusion everywhere inside the hall and all of a sudden I get this fragrance, spread across the room and there is silence in the room. I turned back and I see a small figure, clad in white, nose pin glittering, spreading her hands always to touch the lives of people, to yet again spread the message of love, compassion and peace! Amma!

Luv,
One of your million children!
